Fairmont San Jose’s Super Bowl stay: $150K

SAN JOSE — Need tickets to Super Bowl 50 and hotel rooms too?

If price isn’t an impediment, then the Fairmont San Jose has you covered. The hotel on Tuesday announced its Ultimate Super Bowl 50 package, and it’s filled with swanky amenities.

For $50,000 a night — with a three-night minimum — you will receive:

— Eight tickets to the Feb. 7 game, with seats in Section 300/Corner Loge.

— Three nights’ accommodation (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) in the four-bedroom Presidential Luxury Suite. (Yes, you can sit in the presidential parlor and talk politics, as President Obama has on more than one occasion.)

— Two chauffeured Cadillac Escalades for the full stay. (Whew! Otherwise, the front desk was just going to point you to the VTA light-rail stop nearby and tell you that Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium is north of there.)

— Plenty of liquor and bubbly, including a complimentary private bar for the whole stay, plus a case of Dom Perignon when you check in.

— Private butler service, in-room catered breakfast and an Apple dream gift package worth $5,000 (you get to pick the products you want).

— A Saturday wine country excursion to Sonoma Valley, where the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn is located. You can play golf at the Sonoma Golf Club or indulge in spa treatments at the inn. You’ll be treated like a VIP at local wineries, and eight magnums of wine will be shipped home for you.

What’s missing from the package?

Well, with a day trip to Sonoma, you won’t get much of a sense of San Jose.

But we can remedy that.

Plan to drop your luggage with the bell captain on Friday. We’ll give your chauffeur an itinerary — one filled with history, intrigue, culture, innovation and more wine. What, you’ve never heard of Sarah Winchester or the Fairchild Eight? We’ll cover all that. Plus we’ll make burrito and banh mi stops.

Enjoy your Silicon Valley stay.
